The Control Freak™ is a simple to use controller box developed for use with the Ghost Bust®.  It's a small stand-alone unit that adds flexibility and control of the Ghost Bust in cool ways, without the need for an expensive computer or the ability to program anything.  It comes with either the Ghost Bust Blaster kit or the Media Monster DVD Control kit.

The Media Monster allows you to control the playback of the Ghost Bust's video routines via switch mat, PIR, or hand-held switch, (available in our online store).  Perfect for the newStartle Bitescollection.  When idle, the Ghost Bust rests in stand-by mode, with the look of a classic greek statue, so it appears as a static prop.  It will stay in this mode indefinitely until a "victim" draws near to the bust, activating either a switch mat or PIR, at which point, a signal is sent from the Control Freak to the included Sony DVD player, launching into the startle/routine.   After the routine finishes, the character face fades out again to the greek statue and remains in that state until the next victim arrives.  It also has a controllable lock-out period, so the video won't be re-triggered again until the amount of time you've set has expired.  It's simple to use and effective.

Then there's the Ghost Bust Blaster.  At the startle point within each routine, (new and old), we've added a subtle visual element... a creepy spider crawls across the bottom of the bust.  If you don't have the Ghost Bust Blaster, it just appears to be just that, some spooky eye candy.  If you do have the Blaster... when the spider gets to the center of the bust, he covers the newly added photo sensor embedded into the base of the bust.  When his shadow covers the sensor, in perfect synch with the climax of the routine...WHAM!  The victim gets a shocking blast of air/water, doubling the impact of the scare!  The Ghost Bust Blaster requires a 60 to 120 psi air compressor, (not included).

There's also an additional relay built in, so that if you have a favorite pop-up pneumatic device, you can add that into the scare as well, allowing it and a light to illuminate it to be triggered at precisely the right moment in the routine!
