BUST BLASTER SETUP (continued)
Step 1: SAFETY FIRST!
The Ghost Bust Blaster is an electrical device capable of propelling air or a combination of air and water at pressures up to 110 psi. Safety considerations should ALWAYS be first and foremost when dealing with such devices.
The solenoid included with the blaster is rated at 12 volts, which is considerably safer than the amount of juice coming straight out of a regular 110 outlet. Still, care should always be taken, so be sure to keep water sources as far away as possible from any and all electrical sources and devices.
This is especially important if you end up using the included optional power relay to trigger an external light, etc., as that requires introducing standard 110 Volts into the mix. Just like when you're fixing a lamp, etc., use caution, cuz that stuff can kill ya if you're not careful.
If water gets spilled, it's a good idea to shut off the power to nearby electrical devices and mop up the water as quickly as possible. Wet floors can be a slip hazard, so keep the floors of your haunt clean and dry at all times.
Finally, be sure never to put anything in your water reservoire that might prove to be harmful to anyone. Never add additives, chemicals, soap etc., and keep the air pressure to a level that won't cause injury.
The Ghost Bust Blaster can emit a water spray, or you can skip the water and blast only air if you prefer.
